LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Gov. Gretchen Whitmer plans to nominate the primary Black girl to the Michigan Excellent Courtroom, a spokesman mentioned Tuesday.

Kyra Harris Bolden is Whitmer’s option to fill the seat vacated by way of the resignation of Justice Bridget McCormack, spokesman Bobby Leddy mentioned.
