EAST PALO ALTO — A police officer was once shot following a site visitors prevent and chase in East Palo Alto in a single day.
East Palo Alto police stated the site visitors prevent came about within the space of Fordham Boulevard and Purdue Road in a while after 11 p.m.. The motive force fled on foot from the prevent to the 2700 block of Fordham and was once chased through officials.
Right through the combat with the driving force, he fired a shot and struck an officer, police stated. No officials had been fired through police.
The officer who was once shot is a five-year veteran of the dept. He was once hit within the leg and his accidents weren’t life-threatening,
The suspect was once known as 44-year-old Willie Wiley of East Palo Alto. The gun he used was once made up our minds to be a “ghost gun” transformed to be totally automated with a high-capacity mag, police stated.
